My Natural Radiant Make-Up Look
Hey Everyone! How are you all doing on this Tuesday morning? Today I thought I would share a make-up look I am loving at the moment. I have always loved the dewy, healthy glowing make-up look. I am the kinda girl who always goes for radiant foundations over matte and I am a self-confessed highlight addict. So I thought I would share with you some of the products I use to achieve this look and exactly how I do it!
- Urban decay Naked Smoky palette
- Bourjois City Radiance Foundation
- Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
- L'oreal Le Blush
- Benefit High Beam
- Benefit Dew the Hoola
- Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
- Benefit Brow Zing
- Primark P.S Lip Liner in nude
- Soap & Glory SuperCat eyeliner
- Mac Twig Lipstick
Step 1 - After moisturising I apply bourjois City radiance foundation using my Real Techniques expert face brush.
Step 2 - I like to get my brows done asap so I do them straight after foundation. I use Benefit Brow Zing. I adore this little kit and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes to use eyebrow make-up. The new 2016 packaging is adorable too! I apply the wax first to shape and define my brows, I then go in with the powder side to fill in any bare spots and to set the wax.
Step 3 - I apply my sample of Benefit Dew The Hoola under my cheekbones. This is a liquid bronzer so I dab it in with my fingers. I sometimes like to set this with a powdered bronzer, today I used the soap and glory solar bronzer.
Step 4 - I get the glorious Benefit High Beam and dab it on to above my check bones and my brow bone. As I said, I friggin' love a good highlight and this one is one of the best out there! I then applied some L'oreal blush to the apples of my cheek to give a little colour. Contour on point...ha!
Step 5 - Time for the eyes! I use the Naked Smoky palette. For a nice wide 'glowy' eye I use the highlight shade 'high' on the inner corners out towards the centre of the lid. I use 'combust' on my crease and then 'radar' which is a brown shimmery colour on my outer corner and a little along my water line. I do a little cat flick with Soap and Glory SuperCat eyeliner. This is such a great eyeliner and lasts ages. I finish my eyes with Benefit Roller Lash i.e the best curling mascara ever!
Step 6 - Finally I finish with the lips. I used a bargain Primark lip liner and my favourite nude lipstick Mac Twig.
And tadaaaa....This is the result of shoving all those products on my mug. This is the make-up you will find me in most days, If I want to be a little more toned down I leave out the eyeliner. It's perfect for day time whether it's going to the shops or out for lunch with friends. It think it looks natural but put together at the same time.
So what do you think of this 'radiant' make-up look? If you know of any good products for achieving a nice healthy glow do let me know in the comments I will be all over them like a rash! Also, if you know of any good contour kits hit me up because I really want to get better at that ;)
