Hey everyone! Happy leap day! I hope you're making the most of this extra day on your calander, I sure am, yup it's now 12.45pm and I'm still sat in my pj's on my bed having some laptop time, and obviously catching up on some blogging! I am not being sarcastic at all here, it's been so long since I've had a pure lazy day that this one is very much needed!
As we all know, when the month draws to an end us bloggers love to share what we've been liking the past month. So I thought I would jump on the bandwagon for February as there has been quite a few things I've been enjoying. Here goes!
Oral B 3D White Brilliance
So I used to think that all toothpaste's were the same. Afterall, they all claimed to give whiter teeth so I just suspected it was nothing more than a marketing ploy and that it really wouldn't make much difference what toothpaste you used, I mean they all seemed to have the same ingredients anyways! But one day I was feeling adventurous and thought I would spend the extra few euros on this Oral B one just to see if it was any better. And I have to say, after using this for just 2 weeks I can see a difference in my teeth. It claims to whiten the front, back and in between teeth and I think it really is making them all round pearlier. I can't wait to see how much of an improvement there will be when I finish the tube!
Thiery Mulger 'Angel' Eu de Parfume
I never used to be that into perfume until the past year or so and this is one I've always sprayed on me whenever I seen it in the shops (stingy right?!) I've been lusting after it for ages but I couldn't justify spending so much money on a fragrance when I could get some pretty awesome things I could physically see for the price. However, my mum surprised me with a gift set of it on my birthday which was February 2nd. It contained a 30ml bottle, shower gel and body lotion and I've been smelling sweet all month! I won't attempt to describe the scent. Go have a sniff!
Revlon 'Lash Potion'
I'm pretty hard to impress with mascara's and after being underwhelmed by the widely adored Maybeline lash sensations I wanted to try out some others. I really like this Revlon mascara on me, it lenghtens my lashes without clumping them together which I found was my main issue with the Maybeline one, this is now my make-up bag staple mascara.
Sleek Face Form Kit
Ok this is my most favourite favourite product of the month, if that makes sense! I loved the contoured look and this Sleek kit which I picked up in the shade light helps me achieved contoured defintion in a jiffy! It's bronzer is the perfect shade for my skin and doesn't look muddy or orange on. The blush is a gorgeous pink with gold sparkles and the highlight, oh the highlight. It adds the perfect glow without making you look like a disco ball. I just love it and at under €14 it's great value too.
Vaseline Essential Care Body Lotion
Ok guys, so this is kinda gross but I have really dry scaly legs from my knees to my ankles. They look yuck and are always itchy which leads me to scratch them. They cut really easily from scratches so basically my legs look like I'm a farmer who does be out in the fields with shorts on haha. For the winter this hasn't really bothered me as I don't want to wear skirts or anything but now I really do want to get them sorted out and I have found this Vaseline body lotion helps. It claims to heal and repair dry skin which sounded like what I need and it really does feel lovely and hydrating when I put it on. I have noticed a slight improvement in my legs as my cuts seem to be clearing up and I think it may be down to this!
Maybeline Masterbrow Pro Palette
For me, eyebrows are hugely important in my beauty routine. I have quite thick and bushy brows naturally but some brow make-up is essential to fill in the gabs and give them a little more definition. I have found this maybeline palette a great colour match for me and it looks really natural. I also love that it has a highlight shade for the brow bone. It also includes a little angled brush which I of course lost. I use the Real Techniques brow brush instead. My eyebrows have really been looking much better since I started using this.
Samsung Tab E Cover
Lastly, I'm not really sure why I included this because it was a gift so I don't know where it's from which isn't exactly helpful for you guys. But hey, this cover is one of my monthly favourites, it fit's perfectly and securely and I love the design so much. I got this tablet for my birthday and it's really fab, I would highly recommend it to anyone.
There we go, some of the things I've been hearting this month! Can you think of any alternatives to these things that I might also like? Do let me know in the comments, I would love to hear from you all! Now on to March we go, I hope it's a great month for you all.
