Blogmas | What I'm excited for in December

Eeeek I almost hate to say the word 'blogmas' because I have a phobia of commitment. So I'm going to use the term lightly. It's going to be me trying to post a blog post most days up to December 24th. This is literally my first Christmas since I was 12 years old that I have not had exams to study for or important assignments to complete in the lead up to Christmas. This is the first time I can fully enjoy advent. So basically with this new found free time to enjoy the holiday season and with lots of time on my hands there's going to be loads of blog posts from me this month but maybe not quiet every single day!

Today is December 1st. Happy December everyone. It's now officially OK to start talking about Christmas - yay! As you may already know, I do love a good list so I've written a list of things I am excited about happening this month.

  1. Seeing Christmas trees and lights up in everyone's house.
  2. Putting up our tree and decorations.
  3. Hearing festive music on the radio, I can't wait to hear 'Merry Christmas Everyone' and 'Fairytale of New York'
  4. Receiving the first Christmas card of the year in the post - it makes it all official!
  5. Going to the German Christmas market in the city centre, eating yummy food and going on the carousel.
  6. Baking Christmas cake and Mince Pies. Yummy!
  7. Seeing my bestie again as she is home from University - I need to see her!
  8. Going out with friends in our Christmas jumpers or sparkly dresses.
  9. Visiting extended family on the lead up to the 25th.
  10. Nicely wrapping presents complete with bows and ribbons.

What is it you are look forward to this December?  Are you excited for any of these things too? Let me know in the comments.

I totally feel you, Sinead! I am not sure I'll manage to post daily, but I hope to do it at least 4 times a week!

I am so excited for Christmas!!! However I have finals a few weeks after Christmas break :( I wish I didn't have to study either. Also you are so lucky you get a Christmas tree!! I have never had a Christmas tree and it seems like it would be nice to have one. The thing I am most excited about is THE COLD WEATHER!! Gosh it's already December and it's still quite warm where I live :(

Unfortunately I have mock A level exams after Christmas, but it won't stop me getting into the Christmas spirit! I absolutely love decorating my house and sending Christmas cards, it's all just mega cute! xx

I have exams in January but this year I decided to get into the Christmas spirit anyway! Any other time of the year I turn my nose up at Michael Bublé but he's suddenly become my go-to for when I'm blogging, ha!

I'm hoping to do 'blogmas' as well, but I'm afraid if I say it, I'll jinx it! x

Good luck in your finals! It's cold most of the year here so I'm not very excited for the freeze haha. If you have a blog you should send me your link :) x

Good luck in your Mocks Rhiannon. I find Christmas helps get you through exams a little, gives you something on the other side to think of as an award :) x
