My Hopes for 2014

Hey Everyone!
It's the first day of 2014, crazy!
I never really make proper new year resolutions because lets face it, we usually have forgotten about them come mid-January.
I thought I would do a quick post about my hopes for 2014 though, something to refer to through the year and (hopefully) look back on on December 31st when I know what has happened.
I have NO idea what this year will hold for me, the future seems very uncertain. But I remember this time last year feeling exactly the same, I was finishing my undergrad and had no idea what I would be doing come September (I was pretty sure I wouldn't get the grad course I applied for, but turns out I did!).
Now this year, in May I will be finishing my hdip (teacher training) and I really will be done with university. I wonder what I will do then. I honestly don't know if I will move abroad to Canada or the UK or somewhere or if I will find a job here in Ireland or at least some sort of work.
I wonder what kind of new people I will meet, God knows I met some amazing friends in 2013 that I never thought I would meet.
I have no idea what's going to happen and that is really scary but the mystery is also kind of exciting.

Here are a few things I want to achieve/do this year:
♥ Nurture my friendships
♥ Get a job
♥ Go blonder (this is a shallow one :P )
♥ Pass Uni and qualify as a teacher
♥ Become more confident
♥ Meet new people that change my life for the better
♥ Be more outgoing
♥ Get a car of my own
♥ Use the internet less (I check facebook way too much haha)
♥ Be more independent
♥ Appreciate the little things
♥ Be happy
Quick note to December 2014 me - If you don't manage to achieve all of these don't beat yourself up about it, 2015 is another chance.

Sounds good! Those transitional years are so exciting/frightening, aren't they? You just don't know what's going to happen, but whatever you'll do, I'm sure you'll do great!
